Let's start with what data you'll actually be tracking within the WSA Social Media Analytics Tracker. At the top left-hand area of the document, you will find the 'Data Titles'.

These 'Data Titles' include: the social media platform of focus (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, etc.), Trend, Growth vs Last Month, Growth vs Last Week, and Engagement Rate.

Under the Platform of focus is the 4 most important things you need to track on social media. You'll be tracking these figures each week to assess your growth, view patterns and calculate your Engagement Rate (something brands and sponsors will want to know).

The Trend column is a really useful and easy to use feature. As you enter data into the Analytics Tracker, the Trend will automatically update to give you an instant view of how your social media data is progressing.

The Growth vs Last Month and Growth vs Last Week columns track how much you social media numbers have increased or decreased compared to the last month and the last week. This is another great way to see at a glance how well your social media platform is performing. These numbers should update automatically when you enter your data each week.

Engagement rate is arguably the most important piece of information for anyone looking to secure a brand deal or sponsorship. Knowing what yours is and being able to easily prove is essential.
We've made this so easy for you. Like with the Trend and the Growth columns, just enter your data week by week and this will automatically generate and display your Engagement Rate for each social media platform you use.

On the right-hand side side of the document you'll find the Data Input Section. This is where you input all of the data you gather from your social media platforms. It's as simple as that.
